Scott Hanna scored the game-winning goal 97:09 into a game that went into overtime to give Washington & Jefferson the 2-1 win against Franciscan.
Franciscan was on the board first with a goal in the 61
st minute of the second half.
Paul Mokrzan soon tied it up for the Presidents when, at 75:26, he found the back of the net on a penalty kick. The game-winning goal was assisted by
Justin Nolfi and is Hanna's team-leading third of the season.
W&J amassed 18 shots, while the Barons took 20.
Benny Wilt was in goal and made nine saves of the eight shots on goal, picking up his fourth win of the season.
The win puts the Presidents up 4-2-1 as they return to action against Heidelberg on Sept. 26 at 5:00 pm at Alexandre Stadium.
