FROSTBURG, Md. –
Ashton Grimm and
Karli-Ann Sanders scored for Washington & Jefferson in the first half to lead the Presidents to a 5-2 win in a nonconference women's soccer match up.

The first-half goals were the first collegiate tallies for both players.
Josie Madden contributed the assist on Sanders' score.
The Bobcats retaliated 20 minutes into the second half with two goals of their own to tie it up, needing just two minutes to make it a 2-2 game.

Hayley Skovira then scored converted a penalty kick to propel W&J to the lead once again at the 69:46-mark, 1:30 after Frostburg State tied the score.

Only 45 seconds later, Skovira scored a second unassisted goal at 70:31, extending the lead to 4-2.

Washington and Jefferson followed this up when, 12 seconds later,
Tatiana Ruzzini notched her own unassisted goal and giving the Presidents three goals in a 57-second span.

Allison Rinehimer was in goal for the entirety of the game, with 11 total saves out of the 13 shots on goal, picking up her first win at W&J and improve to 1-0-1.
