NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson volleyball team was defeated by Westminster, 3-1, on Tuesday night, Oct. 25, as the final set scores totaled 24-26, 20-25, 25-23, 16-25.

The loss snapped a five-match winning streak as the Presidents overall record now sits at 19-8, with an 11-6 record in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.

Madison Lydic (Erie, Pa./Fort LeBoeuf) led the Presidents with 15 kills with a .270 hitting percentage on offense to go along with five blocks while
Lexi Hilzendeger (Baden, Pa./Ambridge) finished with 10 kills.
Emily Toy (Freeport, Pa./Freeport) recorded 25 assists and 19 digs while
Rebecca Fallert (Carnegie, Pa./Chartiers Valley) totaled 12.

Allison Means (Connellsville, Pa./Connellsville Area) finished the match with 28 digs while
Makenzie Coughlin (Brunswick, Ohio/Brunswick),
Taylor Freeman (Cresson, Pa./Penn Cambria) and
Sarah Dindak (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) each recorded 13 digs.
