LATROBE, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson volleyball team was swept by Saint Vincent to close out the 2016 regular season on Saturday, Oct. 29.
The Presidents finished the regular season with an overall record of 19-9 with an 11-7 record in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.Â
Abbey Eich (Greencastle, Pa./St. Maria Goretti (Md.)) led the Presidents' offense with seven kills while
Madison Lydic (Erie, Pa./Fort LeBoeuf) finished with six.
Emily Toy (Freeport, Pa./Freeport) finished with a team-high 13 assists to go along with 13 digs while
Allison Means (Connellsville, Pa./Connellsville Area) led the team with 22 digs.
With the conclusion of the season, the Presidents have earned the fourth-seed in the PAC Tournament and will host Westminster on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. in Henry Memorial Gymnasium, the team's first home playoff game since the 2009 season.
