WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson volleyball team fell to 14-6 overall on the season and 8-4 in Presidents' Athletic Conference play with a 3-0 loss to Thomas More (12-8, 10-1 PAC) on Friday night, Oct. 7 as the final set scores totaled 17-25, 22-25, 18-25.
Sarah Dindak (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) led the Presidents' offense with seven kills and also contributed 15 digs while
Julia Bernesser (Glenshaw, Pa./Shaler) totaled six kills and a match-high .353 hitting percentage.
Mallory O'Brien (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) finished the match with a team-high 17 assists in addition to 10 digs while
Allison Means (Connellsville, Pa./Connellsville Area) led the team with 17 digs.
As a team, W&J held a 5-4 edge in total blocks.
The Presidents return to action on Thursday, Oct. 13, when they travel for a PAC matchup at Geneva at 7 p.m.
