WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson men's soccer team fell to Geneva, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 8.

The Presidents fell behind in the 19th minute when Jake Broadwick took a free kick from 20 yards out on the right side and found Gib McCracken who headed in the pass. In the 31st minute, the Golden Tornadoes extended the lead to 2-0 when Liam O'Halloran was able to finish a shot from just outside the box to the lower left corner.

Abel Carleton rounded out the scoring for the Golden Tornadoes in the 71st minute.

Jeremy Stone (Hope Mills, N.C./Fayetteville Academy) (2-2) took the loss in net for the Presidents, making two saves in the first half.
Nick Stasko (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) was the Presidents' keeper for the second half and made two saves. Luke Nolan (7-2-1) got the win in net for the Golden Tornadoes as he made three saves.

Justin Nolfi (Irwin, Pa./Greensburg Central Catholic) and
Noah Kustenbauder (Duncansville, Pa./Hollidaysburg) each recorded a shot on goal for the Presidents.

The Presidents return to the pitch on Tuesday, Oct. 11, when they travel to Waynesburg for an 8 p.m. PAC matchup.
