WASHINGTON, Pa.  – The Washington & Jefferson men's lacrosse team fell to Baldwin Wallace in its 2016 home opener 13-4.
 
The Presidents trailed 2-1 at the half featuring goalkeeper Jacob Succop with 13 saves. Succop played all 60 minutes in goal for W&J, making 21 saves in the game.
 
Kyle Heinig led the Presidents in scoring with 2 goals making his season total 10 goals. Zach Fredericks also added a goal and an assist.
 
Zachary Moore scored his first career goal in the fourth quarter to enter the stat sheet.
 
Devon Curran, Kyle MacKenzie and Zach Fredericks all had an assist respectively.
 
W&J slips to 1-2 on the season as Baldwin Wallace moves to 1-0.
 
The Presidents are slated to take on Wooster 1 p.m., March 5 at Alexandre Stadium.
