WASHINGTON, Pa. –
Ashley Bulger led Washington & Jefferson with a career-high 10 points, five goals and five assists, to win its first game of the season, 18-10 over Hiram.Â

The win advances W&J to an overall record of 1-2 this year, while Hiram falls to 0-3.

Bulger secured four of her goals and four of her assists in the first half to help the Presidents build a 12-5 advantage at halftime. The senior then accumulated one more of each in the second half to finish with 10 points, besting her previous career high of eight. Â

Caroline Kallos contributed six points by scoring four goals and adding two helpers, while also picking up six draw controls.

Diana Harvey also had four goals, as well as an assist and four draw controls.
Monica Ewansik tallied a hat trick for the second game in a row and logged a game-best seven draw controls.

Alex Dikos scored a pair of goals while also registering a couple of assists to finish with four points.

Leah Yerardi (36:18) and
Michaela Mulokey (23:42) were both in goal for the Presidents, with Yerardi making three saves and Mulokey picking up the win and stopping four shots.

W&J will travel to Elizabethtown, Pa. next to take on Elizabethtown on March 12th at 4:00 pm.
