WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson women's lacrosse team secured a spot in the Ohio River Lacrosse Conference Women's Championship Game with a 16-10 semifinal victory against Mount St. Joseph, thanks to five Presidents recording multiple goals.

Six W&J players found the back of the net, including
Ashley Bulger who netted six goals. Bulger scored four goals before the half and two goals in the second to move herself into second place on the single-season goal list, increasing her total to 58 this season, five shy of Brittany Fradkin's mark of 63 from 2012.

The Presidents headed into haltime leading the Lions 8-7 after Mount St. Joseph scored two goals in the last 1:02 of the period.

W&J struck first to open the second frame with a goal from
Lauren Brown to improve the score, 9-7. The Lions would net the next two goals over a 3:42 span to tie the game at 9-9 with 21:26 to play.

The Presidents responded with six unanswered goals to take a 15-9 lead. Mount St. Joseph recorded one more goal to cut the lead to five, but W&J tallied another score to advance to the ORLC Championship matchup with a final of 16-10.

Brown recorded a hat trick while
Monica Ewansik,
Caroline Kallos and
Diana Harvey each scored twice.
Alex Dikos also added a goal in the victory. Kallos and Dikos both contributed three assists, while Ewansik and Harvey passed out two apiece.

Michaela Mulokey picked up the win, logging 10 saves and allowing 10 scores to improve to 11-1 this season.

Harvey had five draw controls, helping her set the career draw control record of 180, besting Fradkin's mark of 177.

Katelynn Linthicum tallied a career-high seven caused turnovers, which is the most by a President this season. She also picked up five ground balls, and fellow defender
Allison Onslow added a career-high seven GBs.

W&J accumulated 34 groundballs and 19 caused turnovers to set team game highs this season.

The Presidents will host third-seeded Saint Vincent, who eliminated second-seeded Transylvania 15-13 in Friday's first semifinal match, tomorrow, Saturday, April 30, at 3 p.m. for the ORLC Championship game at Alexandre Stadium.
