How it Happened: The Washington & Jefferson men's water polo team began its season at the Mercyhurst Invitational, but fell in its opener, 17-13, to Gannon University.

Top Performers: Patrick Fredrick (Saratoga, Calif./Bellarmine College Prep) led the attack for the Presidents, finishing with five goals and a block, while
Nicholas Willison (Rockford, Mich./Rockford) recorded three goals.

The Rest: Tyler Willison (Rockford, Mich./Rockford) and
Ian Geister (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) scored twice with Willison drawing seven ejections and Geister being ejected once.
Dylan Gwinn (Baltimore, Md./Mount St. Joseph) rounded out the President scoring with a goal.
Mac Hennessy (Blue Bell, Pa./Wissahickon) made 18 saves in net for the Presidents.

Zach Bacchus (Ocoee, Fla./West Orange) was in net for the Presidents and made nine saves.
