TIFFIN, Ohio -- The Washington & Jefferson men's soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss at Heidelberg on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 24.

The first two Heidelberg goals came off the foot of Rodrigo Meza in the 34th and 39th minutes. Joseph Tallarico scored in the 51st minute to wrap up the scoring for the game.

Matt Kotkiewicz (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) got one shot off in the game but put it on goal while Jason Yobbi (South Park, Pa./South Park) and Jason Menni (McKees Rocks, Pa./Montour) also got off one shot each.

Nick Stasko (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) (2-3-1) took the loss in net for the Presidents, making five saves in the first half. Jeremy Stone (Hope Mills, N.C./Fayetteville Academy) played the second half for the Presidents and made three saves. Jake Kress (1-5) got the win in net for the Student Princes, making one save in 88:37 of action while Alex Archambeau played the final 1:23.

The Presidents return to the pitch on Wednesday, Sept. 28, when they travel to Muskingum at 4:30 p.m. for their final nonconference match of the season.
