NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson volleyball team fell in four sets (25-15, 17-25, 25-15, 25-22) in a rematch against Presidents' Athletic Conference rival Westminster on Saturday, Oct. 14.

With the loss, the Presidents fall to 9-10 overall with a 6-7 mark in the PAC as the Titans improve to 19-4 overall with the win and 11-2 against conference opponents.

Julia Bernesser (Glenshaw, Pa./Shaler) led the way for the W&J offense with 11 kills followed by
Abbey Eich (Greencastle, Pa./St. Maria Goretti (Md.)) who tallied 10 to go along with two blocks.
Julia Galbraith (Pittsburgh, Pa./Vincentian Academy) and
Madison Lydic (Erie, Pa./Fort LeBoeuf) both finished with seven kills as Galbraith also contributed 22 digs and a block on defense.

Mallory O'Brien (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) recorded a 36-assist, 14-dig performance and finished off two of five attacks while
Makenzie Coughlin (Brunswick, Ohio/Brunswick) finished with a team-high 25 digs and two service aces.
Katie Conner (Pittsburgh, Pa./Vincentian Academy) and
McKenzie Merenick (Warren, Pa./Warren) both had 11 digs in the match to round out the five Presidents with at least 10.

W&J Volleyball will travel to Grove City for its next match on Wednesday, Oct. 18, in a 7:00 p.m. PAC battle.
