WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson volleyball team completed the season sweep of Presidents' Athletic Conference foe Saint Vincent with a three-set victory (25-20, 25-20, 25-21) to kick off Homecoming Weekend on Friday night, Oct. 20.

With the win, the Presidents improve to 11-10 overall with an 8-7 PAC record, and the Bearcats fall to 11-15 overall and 4-11 in conference play.

Abbey Eich (Greencastle, Pa/St. Maria Gorettii (Md.)) headed the offense with 11 kills, followed by
Madison Lydic (Erie, Pa./Fort LeBouef) with nine kills and a match-high .500 hitting percentage, and
Julia Bernesser (Glenshaw, Pa./Shaler) with eight kills.
Mallory O'Brien (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) tallied 29 assists to go along with 10 digs and two service aces.

Makenzie Coughlin (Brunswick, Ohio/Brunswick) anchored the defense with a match-high 22 digs and one service ace, while
Katie Conner (Pittsburgh, Pa./Vincentian Academy) added 18 more digs and a service ace. Lydic led the team with three blocks, while O'Brien,
Morgan Jacques (Pittsburgh, Pa./Pittsburgh Science & Technology Academy) and Bernesser tallied one apiece.
