CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The Washington & Jefferson volleyball team fell in three sets on the road at Thomas More with set scores of 25-16, 25-9, 25-18 on Sunday, Oct. 8, in Presidents' Athletic Conference action.
 
Julia Bernesser (Glenshaw, Pa./Shaler) finished off five kills in the match with three digs on defense and Brooke Lininger (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) had three kills.
 
Mallory O'Brien (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) tallied 11 assists and nine digs, including one service ace, and Makenzie Coughlin (Brunswick, Ohio/Brunswick) recorded 16 digs to anchor the defense.
 
The Presidents will return to action on Thursday, Oct. 12, for a 7:00 PAC matchup against Geneva in Henry Gym.
