Lauren London-Law's head coaching debut, the Washington & Jefferson volleyball team fell to North Park (Ill.) in four sets by scores of 25-22, 25-22, 13-25, 25-17 on Friday, Sept. 1, in nonconference action at the Otterbein Fall Classic.

Madison Lydic (Erie, Pa./Fort LeBoeuf) led the Presidents with a career-high tying 15 kills on the night with a .273 attack percentage and
Brooke Lininger (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) had nine kills with an attack percentage of .304.

Mallory O'Brien (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) recorded 32 assists to go along with 10 digs on the night with
Makenzie Coughlin (Brunswick, Ohio/Brunswick) totaling 17 digs to lead the defense.

The Presidents will look to bounce back with a couple of nonconference matches on Saturday, Sept. 2, beginning with Capital at 12:00 p.m. before rounding out the weekend against host Otterbein at 4:00 p.m.
