Both teams were sluggish in the opening period, combining for just 20 points, as the visitors held a 13-7 lead through 10 minutes. The squads did a lot of basket exchanging in the second quarter, with
Lauren Gilbert (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) scoring seven points for W&J and

Five points in a 22-second span later in the fourth quarter once again made it a 10-point game on a three-point play by
Mia Woytovich (Charleroi, Pa./Charleroi) with 2:48 to play, however W&J was unable to get within single digits before the eventual 73-57 margin.
Gilbert led all players with 21 points, including four triples, her third game over 20 points of the season. Moore inched closer to the 1,000-point plateau as her 14 points brought her to 929 on her career. She also grabbed five steals and had three rebounds and a team-high three assists. Woytovich joined the duo in double figures with 10 points, plus a team-best eight rebounds.
TMC had four players in double figures and held a 36-12 advantage on points in the paint.
W&J returns to action, and concludes the first trip through the PAC schedule, with a 5:30 p.m. tip-off at rival Waynesburg on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
