W&J cold from the field in loss at Grove City

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Presidents were unable to find their shooting stroke on a consistent basis in a 68-53 Presidents' Athletic Conference loss at Grove City.

Sean Stinelli (Harrison City, Pa./Penn-Trafford) led all players with 15 points behind four three-pointers, while also pulling down a team-best six rebounds in the loss. Stinelli has hit at least one time from beyond-the-arc in 15 games this season and has multiple triples in nine of those contests.

Mitch DeZort (Tarentum, Pa./Highlands) reached double digits for the first time in his rookie campaign, contributing 13 points, backed by a pair of triples. DeZort's two steals were a team high, while his four rebounds were tied for second on the team with Brian Lindquist (Narvon, Pa./Pequea Valley), who chipped in nine points.

On the afternoon, the Red & Black shot 30.4 percent (17-for-56) from the floor and 26.9 percent (7-of-26) from three-point range. W&J limited itself to just eight turnovers, tying the least amount in a game this year.

W&J will return to the Henry Memorial Center to host Westminster in an 8 p.m. tip-off on Wednesday, Jan. 31.
