WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson men's lacrosse team opened its 2018 season with an 18-1 loss at home to Kenyon in nonconference action on Saturday, Feb. 17.

Brendan Tribeck (Enola, Pa./Trinity) found
Ben Ward (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan) cutting towards the net and delivered a pass that Ward quickly fired behind his head and past the Kenyon goalkeeper for the score.

Michael Aaron Pray III (Gaithersburg, Md./Maret School (D.C.)) led the Presidents with five ground balls in the contest and
Joseph Tritschler (New Kensington, Pa./Greensburg Central Catholic) was the defensive leader with two caused turnovers.

Noah Cohen (Hewlett, N.Y./George W. Hewlett) took the loss as the W&J netminder and made 17 saves in 60 minutes of action.

The Presidents will be back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 21, when they host Baldwin Wallace in another nonconference matchup with the face-off scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
