WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson men's lacrosse team dropped a nonconference game against Baldwin Wallace by a score of 26-1 on Wednesday, Feb. 21.

Mark Mandak (Enola, Pa./Trinity) tallied the only goal for the Presidents 53 seconds into the fourth quarter. After receiving a pass just inside midfield, Mandak raced into the offensive zone, made a defender miss, and fired his shot inside the right post.

Ben Ward (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillian),
Rocco Ruscitto (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin), and Mandak led the team with five shots in the game and
Patrick Brunner (Ellicott City, Md./Mount Saint Joseph) tallied four shots.

Defensively, goalkeeper
Noah Cohen (Hewlett, N.Y./George W. Hewlett) and
Michael Aaron Pray III (Gaithersburgh, Md./Maret School (D.C.)) tied for the game-high with five ground balls while Ward was among four other Presidents with at least three ground balls.

Cohen suffered the loss in net and stopped 13 shots.

The Presidents will return to the field on Saturday, Feb. 24 as they travel to Ohio Northern for a 1:00 p.m. nonconference showdown.
