CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. -- The Washington & Jefferson women's basketball team will turn its focus to the 2018 Presidents' Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Tournament following a 92-42 loss to No. 4 Thomas More in the regular season finale.
The Presidents wrapped up the regular season with a 21-4 overall record and 15-3 mark in the PAC and will be the second seed in next week's tournament, having earned a double bye to the semifinals. W&J will play on Friday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m. in Kentucky against whoever is victorious on Wednesday night between third-seeded Saint Vincent and the winner of Monday night's 6-7 game (teams still TBD).
Amirah Moore (Moon Township, Pa./Moon) was the lone President in double figures Saturday afternoon with 17 points, plus a game-best three steals and five rebounds.
Nicole Ricketts (Montgomery Village, Md./St. John's Catholic Prep) was second on the squad with six points and produced two of W&J's four assists.
Alie Seto (Allison, Pa./Brownsville) snagged a team-best six boards and also turned away a game-topping three blocks.
