How it Happened: The Washington & Jefferson men's water polo team was tied 10-10 with Mercyhurst heading into the fourth quarter of its night bout on Friday, but fell just short in a 12-11 setback on Senior Day.
Top Performer: Will Kitsch (Mohnton, Pa./Governor Mifflin) led the way for the Presidents with five goals and an assist in the close contest.
The Rest: Dylan Gwinn (Baltimore, Md./Mount St. Joseph) finished next on the team with three goals, while
Troy Smith (San Marcos, Calif./San Marcos) tallied two scores. Smith also racked up four assists on the evening to lead the Red & Black. In goal,
Nick Spehar (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) made 22 saves against the tough Laker offense.

How it Happened: W&J bounced back quickly from Friday's loss to top Connecticut College, 16-9, on Saturday morning at the Henry Memorial Natatorium.
Top Performer: Smith logged five goals and dished out two assists to guide the Presidents to victory over the Camels.
The Rest: Freshman
Dustin Reinke (Fresno, Calif./Buchanan) scored four times to finish second on the team, while Kitsch added three more goals to his total for the weekend.
Cam Spicer (Lansing, Mich./East Lansing) had an all-around day with a team-leading three assists to go along with two goals. Spehar made 12 saves and dished out an assist to pick up his fourth win of the year.
What's next: The Presidents have matches against both Gannon and Salem on the schedule to close out play this weekend.
