BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- After falling behind 1-0, the Washington & Jefferson College men's soccer team scored four goals in a 15 minute span to capture a 4-1 victory at Geneva on Saturday evening.<br />  <br /> The Presidents (8-7-2, 5-0-1) remain unbeaten in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play and record their fifth-consecutive win. With 16 points in the standings, the Presidents remain one point behind Westminster, however have two league games remaining while the Titan have one.<br />  <br /> Geneva struck first with a 17th-minute tally by Alex Yoder. The Golden Tornadoes held a one-goal advantage for just over 10 minutes before the Presidents' offensive barrage began.<br />  <br /> Michael Komaniak (Oakmont, Pa./Riverview) found the equalizer in the 27th minute, firing a shot into the bottom left corner of the net.<br />  <br /> Less than five minutes later, Komaniak connected with Alvaro Viadas (Burgos, Spain) for the go-ahead goal in the 32nd minute. Saturday marked the sixth-straight games Viadas tallied a point for the Red and Black.<br />  <br /> Jake Fetterman's (Pottstown, Pa./The Hill School) free kick in the 39th minute found its way to Junior Mensah (Chantilly, Va./Broad Run), who buried it for his second goal of the season and a 3-1 Presidents' lead.<br />  <br /> Fetterman served up Zach Bowser (Beaver, Pa./Beaver Area) on a free kick two minutes later to give the Presidents' a fourth first-half goal. W&J carried the 4-1 advantage into halftime after outshoot the Golden Tornadoes 11-6 over the first 45 minutes.<br />  <br /> Neither team found the back of the net in the second half as Geneva outshot W&J 9-3 (5-2 SOG), however five saves from Samuel Miller (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg)  kept Geneva from trimming the Presidents' advantage and the Red and Black escaped Beaver Falls, Pa. with a 4-1 win.<br />  <br /> Geneva held a slight edge in shots (15-14) and shots on goal (9-8) for the game, however the Presidents' cluster of goals in the first half proved to be too much to overcome.<br />  <br /> Bower led the Presidents with five shots, three on goal.
