BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- After falling behind 1-0, the Washington & Jefferson College men's soccer team scored four goals in a 15 minute span to capture a 4-1 victory at Geneva on Saturday evening.<br />

The Presidents (8-7-2, 5-0-1) remain unbeaten in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play and record their fifth-consecutive win. With 16 points in the standings, the Presidents remain one point behind Westminster, however have two league games remaining while the Titan have one.<br />

Geneva struck first with a 17<sup>th</sup>-minute tally by Alex Yoder. The Golden Tornadoes held a one-goal advantage for just over 10 minutes before the Presidents' offensive barrage began.<br />
<br />
Michael Komaniak (Oakmont, Pa./Riverview) found the equalizer in the 27<sup>th</sup> minute, firing a shot into the bottom left corner of the net.<br />
<br />
Less than five minutes later, Komaniak connected with
Alvaro Viadas (Burgos, Spain) for the go-ahead goal in the 32<sup>nd</sup> minute. Saturday marked the sixth-straight games Viadas tallied a point for the Red and Black.<br />
<br />
Jake Fetterman's (Pottstown, Pa./The Hill School) free kick in the 39<sup>th</sup> minute found its way to
Junior Mensah (Chantilly, Va./Broad Run), who buried it for his second goal of the season and a 3-1 Presidents' lead.<br />

Zach Bowser (Beaver, Pa./Beaver Area) on a free kick two minutes later to give the Presidents' a fourth first-half goal. W&J carried the 4-1 advantage into halftime after outshoot the Golden Tornadoes 11-6 over the first 45 minutes.<br />

Neither team found the back of the net in the second half as Geneva outshot W&J 9-3 (5-2 SOG), however five saves from
Samuel Miller (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg) kept Geneva from trimming the Presidents' advantage and the Red and Black escaped Beaver Falls, Pa. with a 4-1 win.<br />
<br />
Geneva held a slight edge in shots (15-14) and shots on goal (9-8) for the game, however the Presidents' cluster of goals in the first half proved to be too much to overcome.<br />
<br />
Bower led the Presidents with five shots, three on goal.
Ian Donlon (Lantham, N.Y./Albany Academies) played the first half in goal and had three saves in the win. <br />
<br />
W&J has now scored 20 goals in six conference games, including four performances with at least four goals.<br />
<br />
The Presidents wrap up their regular season this coming week at Bethany on Wednesday (4:00 p.m.) before the regular-season finale against Grove City on Senior Day at Alexandre Stadium on Nov. 2 at 1:00 p.m.<br />
