KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- The Washington & Jefferson baseball team wrapped up its spring trip to Florida with a pair of losses to UW-Stevens Point on Friday, March 15, in Kissimmee, Fla.
Game OneÂ
The Presidents fell in game one by a 12-5 final score. W&J notched five runs on four hits, the team's second-highest scoring total during its trip.Â
The Red & Black opened the scoring with a homer from
Mullen Socha (Independence, Ohio/St. Ignatius) in the top of the first inning. The second batter of the game, Socha unloaded on his first pitch to send the ball over the left field wall.Â

W&J began to rally in the fifth, drawing the deficit to one, 6-5, with timely two-out hitting.
Dante Dalesandro (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) recorded the first run, scoring on a wild pitch.
Justin Griffin (Lombard, Ill./Glenbard East) plated the next two runs with a two-RBI single through the left side. Socha scored from third and
