WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Two early first half goals lifted Penn State Behrend to a 4-2 victory over the Washington & Jefferson College women's soccer team in non-conference play Saturday at Alexandre Stadium.

The visiting Lions recorded a pair of corner kick goals by Taylor Mealie, one coming in the 6th minute before another was added in the 13th minute. PSB used the pair of goals to build a 2-0 lead at halftime.

The Lions tacked on back-to-back goals late in the second half to stretch the advantage to 4-0. McKenna Lewis (Hershey, Pa./Hershey) got W&J on the board in the 80th minute, scoring off a pass from Chandler Marteeny (Somerset, Pa./Somerset).
