th season as a varsity program in Pittsburgh at the W&J Invitational, hosted at Highland Pool.

Result: L, 13-9
How it Happened: The Washington & Jefferson men's water polo team opened its 2019 campaign with a 13-9 setback against Penn State Behrend. After leading 6-5 at halftime, PSB outscored the Presidents 8-3 over the final two quarters to seal the win.
Top Performers: Dylan Gwinn led the way with three goals for W&J in the opener.

Ian Geister,
Andrew Edwards,
Elijah Muzzi and
Kyle Rubenstein all appeared on the score sheet with one goal.

How it Happened: W&J Led 3-2 after the first quarter, but was outscored 9-2 the rest of the way in a loss to Mercyhurst.
Top Performers: Edwards tallied a team-best two goals in the losing effort.
The Rest: Kitsch, Geister and Bannon all added one goal apiece for the Presidents.

Result: W 5-0 (forfeit)
How it Happened: W&J earned a forfeit victory over Gannon due to a red card to Gannon's head coach in a previous contest without a suitable replacement. However, the Presidents and Golden Knights did play an exhibition.
Top Performers: In the exhibition, Kitsch notched three goals and
Nick Spehar made nine saves.
The Rest: Edwards and Bannon each scored twice and Muzzi added another goal.
The Presidents travel to Mercyhurst to take on Mt. San Antonio, Mercyhurst and Penn State Behrend next weekend.
