Titans top Presidents in PAC play, 2-0

WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Westminster scored a goal in each half to claim a 2-0 victory over the Washington & Jefferson College women's soccer team in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match Saturday at Alexandre Stadium.

The match appeared to be heading to a scoreless tie at halftime. However, a Brooke Horvath goal with 58 seconds remaining in the half gave the Titans a 1-0 edge at halftime.

Sophia Kaplan found the back of the net in the 63rd minute of play to extend the Titans lead to 2-0. Westminster was able to keep W&J off of the scoreboard as they finished off the shutout victory.
