WAYNESBURG, Pa. -- A decisive victory over Pitt-Bradford highlighted the Washington & Jefferson College wrestling team's Saturday at the Waynesburg University Duals. The Presidents dropped a 47-6 decision to Alvernia to start the day. W&J then fell 48-0 to Division II Glenville State. The Presidents concluded their day with a 59-0 win over Pitt-Bradford.
Leading the way was senior
Alex Donahue (Indiana, Pa./Indiana), who was the lone President to collect a pair of victories. Donahue pinned Tonee Ellis in 4:45 for W&J's lone win versus Alvernia. Donahue added a pin against Nathan Powley in 1:25.
After having next weekend off, W&J will head to the Messiah Invitational on Dec. 3-4.
