WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson College wrestling team picked up a pair of wins Saturday at the inaugural Jim White Duals, which were hosted at the Ross Recreation Center inside the Henry Memorial Center. The Presidents rolled to a 55-0 victory over Hiram College to open the day before earning a 29-18 win over the Battlers of Alderson-Broaddus.

The Presidents raced to a 55-0 victory in its first ever meeting with the Terriers.
W&J claimed five victories via fall.
Hunter Swedish (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) won in 2:30 at 133 pounds while
Christian Logan (Owings Mills, Md. / Reservoir)'s victory at 141 pounds came in 4:23.
Vinnie Catania (Frederick, Md. / Tuscarora) secured his victory by fall in 4:27 while
Seth Finnigan (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Carrick) worked for his victory by fall in 6:51. Jacob Walker (McDonald, Pa./South Fayette) earned his fall at 285 in 5:27.
Jaden Datz (Ruffs Dale, Pa./Southmoreland) dominated en route to a 17-8 major decision at 174 pounds.
Adam Zerbee (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) claimed a 4-2 victory by decision at 149 pounds.
Tyler Ratledge (Houston, Del. / Lake Forest),
Brayden Roscosky (Vandergrift, Pa./Kiski Area) and
Alex Donahue (Indiana, Pa. / Indiana) won via forfeit at their respective weights against Hiram.
W&J 29, Alderson-Broaddus 18
The Presidents built an early lead against the Battlers behind a 8-0 major decision by Swedish at 133 pounds. Logan tacked on his second pin of the day, as he won by fall in 5:26 at 141 pounds to give W&J a 10-3 lead. Zerbee earned his second hard fought win of the day. His 10-7 decision at 149 pounds made the score 13-3 in favor of the Presidents.
A W&J forfeit at 157 pounds allowed Alderson-Broaddus to trim the deficit to 13-9. However, Finnigan made quick work of his opponent at 165 pounds, as the freshman secured a victory by fall in just 41 seconds. Datz then added his second major decision of the day at 174 pounds. Datz won by a 12-3 score to extend the W&J lead to 23-9.
W&J gained six more points at 184 pounds as Roscosky won by forfeit.
W&J hosts Thiel for a PAC dual meet on Tuesday, Jan. 25. The match, which is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start, will serve as Senior Recognition for the six W&J seniors.
