Titans use quick strike offense to earn 2-1 victory over Presidents

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Westminster scored twice in the 57th minute to erase a second half deficit and defeat the Washington & Jefferson men's soccer team by a 2-1 score Wednesday evening in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match.

The unassisted tally gave W&J a lead for just a little more than five minutes when Connor Schmidt evened the score at 1-1. Westminster added the eventual game-winning goal just 29 seconds later when Tyler Caterino recorded his 10th goal of the season.

W&J out-shot Westminster by a 16-13 margin for the game. The Presidents held a 9-5 advantage in shots on goal. W&J also held a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks.
