NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson College Track & Field team traveled to Westminster College to compete in the Westminster Invitational Friday and Saturday. The invite consisted of NCAA Division II and Division III institutions.
Men
Ian Baughman (Oxford, Pa./Oxford Area) finished in third in the 400 hurdles with his time of 57.90. Additionally, Baughman ran to a sixth place finish in the 110 hurdles (16.15 seconds).
Aden Dressler (Evans City, Pa./Butler) finished with a time of 10:06.88 in the 3000 meter steeplechase to land him in fourth place.
Daniel Deal (Butler, Pa./Knoch) joined Dressler in the top 10 in the steeplechase. Deal placed ninth with a personal record time of 10:32.82.
Declan Fricko (New Bethlehem, Pa./Redbank Valley) jumped to a fifth place finish in the high jump with his leap of 1.80 meters.
Brock Pennington (North East, Pa./North East) finished ninth in the 5000 with a time of 15:52.32.
Jake Sinclair (Beallsville, Pa./Beth Center) placed 11th in the 800 with a time of 2:02.17.
Women
Faith Remich (New Kensington, Pa./Burrell) claimed the 800 with a time of 2:21.30, which matches the school record time set by Cheyenne Mangold in the event. Additionally, Remich's new mark currently puts her in second place in the PAC.
Bre Trusler (Daisytown, Pa./California) won the 400 meter dash with her time of 1:01.47.
Maddie Simpson (Washington, Pa./Chartiers-Houston) heaved a 33.81 meter toss in the javelin throw to earn third place.
Anna Stroup (Port Royal, Pa./Juniata) finished fourth in the 100 hurdles with a new personal-best time of 16.70 seconds while
Jadyn Hartner (Washington, Pa./Fort Cherry) ran to a fourth place finish in the 400 hurdles with a new personal-best time of 1:10.22.

Taylor Johnson (Lower Burrell, Pa./Burrell), Remich and Trusler ran to a third place finish in the 4x4 relay with their time of 4:22.79. That time currently ranks them second among PAC competitors.
