Track & Field competes at WVU Last Chance meet

MORGANTOWN, W.VA. -- The Washington & Jefferson College track and field teams returned to Mylan Park on Saturday afternoon, which is where the teams competed a week ago for the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships, for the WVU Last Chance meet. 

The WVU Last Chance Meet was composed of Division I, Division II, and Division III institutions. 

Jadyn Hartner (Washington, Pa./ Fort Cherry) paced the Presidents, finishing runner-up in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:06.71.

Cassie Carr (Girard, Pa./Girard) placed seventh in the 1500 Meter Run. Carr logged a personal-best time of 4:54.22 in the event.

Nate Sciarro (Beaver Falls, Pa./Riverside) jumped to a fourth place finish in the long jump with his leap of 6.90 meters.

Ian Baughman (Oxford, Pa./Oxford Area) finished in fourth in the 110 hurdles at 15.92.

Jake Sinclair (Beallsville, Pa./Beth-Center) ran to a 10th place finish in the 1500 with his time of 4:23.65.

W&J will compete at one more invitational before regionals on May 18. The Presidents will travel to Berea, Ohio for B-W Harrison Dilliard Twilight on Friday, May 13. The meet is slated to start at 2 p.m.
