Anthony Pass (Clinton, Pa./West Allegheny) was recently selected as a Valley League Baseball North All-Star Team.
The 2023 All Star Game was held at Bing Crosby Stadium on June 25th in Front Royal, Va. The All-Star Selections encompass ballplayers from every team in the Valley League.
Pass has been competing as a member of the New Market Rebels, which plays its home games at Rebel Park in New Market, Va. He has compiled a 3-0 record with a 2.00 earned-run average in eight appearances. Pass has struck out 20 and walked just two in 18 innings of work.
The Valley Baseball League is an NCAA and MLB-sanctioned collegiate summer baseball league in the Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia. The league was started in 1923 and sanctioned by the NCAA in 1961. It has been a wooden bat league since 1993.
The regular season runs through July 23 before postseason play begins.
