PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Washington and Jefferson College's men's soccer team settled for a 1-1 draw against host Chatham University in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match Wednesday evening at UPMC Graham Field.
The second consecutive draw puts the Presidents record at 2-3-3 overall and 1-0-2 in conference play. Chatham is now 1-7-2 overall and 0-2-1 in PAC matches.Â
The Presidents burst into action at the beginning of the first half as Jimmy Gogol (Reistertown, Md. / Westminster) scored the first and only goal of the game for the Presidents in the fourth minute of play to give W&J a 1-0 lead. W&J was able to carry that lead through halftime.Â
Chatham tallied the lone goal of the second half, as the lone scoring tally by the home team came in the 58th minute of play.Â
Chatham held a slight shot on goal advantage (5-3). Both teams recording six corner kicks.
Junior goalkeeper Charles Boldosser (Westminster, Md. / South Carroll) registered another full 90 minutes of play. He finished with three saves on the night.Â
Gogol paced the Red & Black with two shots which included his third goal of the season.Â

W&J travels to Allegheny College for an afternoon match on Saturday, Sept. 30. The conference bout will start at 1:30 p.m.Â
