TRAFFORD, Pa. -- The Presidents' Athletic Conference announced on Monday afternoon that Washington & Jefferson College sophomore pitcher
Anthony Pass (Clinton, Pa./West Allegheny) has been recognized as the conference's Pitcher of the Week.
Pass recorded 12 strikeouts during a complete game effort, the first of his collegiate career, in W&J's 6-2 win over SUNY Cobleskill Friday. Pass allowed just three hits in the victory and retired Cobleskill in order in five of the nine innings. The 12 strikeouts are the most in a start by a W&J pitcher since April 12, 2022.
W&J returns to action on Wednesday, March 27 when Saint Vincent College visits Ross Memorial Park. The conference twin bill is scheduled for a 2 p.m. start.
