WAYNESBURG, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson College men's tennis team captured a 9-0 win on the road in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) against Waynesburg University at the Bechtle Family Tennis Facility on Sunday.
W&J established a dominant lead, claiming all three doubles matches with 8-1, 8-2, and 8-1 scores.
The Presidents earned all six singles points with straight set victories. Junior
Abhinav Yarramaneni (Mountain View, Calif. / Los Altos) and sophomore
Connor Simms (Canonsburg, Pa. / Canon-McMillan) achieved impressive victories without dropping a single game.
W&J returns home to host Thiel in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match at the Janet Swanson Tennis Center this Tuesday, April 9 at 5 p.m.
