WASHINGTON Pa. – Washington & Jefferson Women's Soccer downs Geneva in its first Presidents' Athletic Conference appearance on Wednesday (Sept. 25), at Alexandre Stadium.
The win propels W&J to an overall record of 4-3-1 with a 1-0 mark in conference play. Geneva now drops to 0-1 in PAC with an overall record of 1-6-1.
Two early goals and strong defense allowed W&J to outlast the Golden Tornadoes in the 90 minutes of play.
Audrey Chapman (Elkins Park, Pa./Phil-Mont Christian Academy) netted the first goal for the Presidents and her second of the season in the 17th minute of play.
