LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Washington & Jefferson College cross country teams wrapped competition at the Greater Louisville Classic. The women finished 10^th of 45 teams while the men placed 34^th of 41.
 
Claire Anderson (Jamestown, Pa./Jamestown) led the women in the Blue 6k with a sixth-place finish and time of 21:25.6. Anderson was only bested one Division III runner from Trine along with four runners from Division I Middle Tennessee State and Kennesaw State.
 
Maria Gilles (North Ridgeville, Ohio/Lake Ridge Academy) finished close behind with a 29^th-place finish with a time of 22:38.6. Gilles crushed her former personal-best time of 23:03.08 posted at the 2024 NCAA Regionals. Chloe LoCastro (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) finished next up with a 70^th place finish with a personal best time of 23:19.7.
 
Dominic Flitcraft (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) led the men with an 11^th place finish with a time of 25:22.0. Wyatt Stroup (Port Royal, Pa./Juniata) placed 35^th with a time of 25:52.5.
 
The Presidents return to action at the Oberlin Invitational on Saturday (Oct. 18). Races will begin at 11:00 a.m.
