Six Presidents listed on 2025 CSC Academic All-District® Women’s At-Large Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. -- Six Washington & Jefferson College student-athletes gained spots on the 2025 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom.
 
The at-large category includes student-athletes whose sports aren't in separate categories during the school year. The list of sports that represented W&J includes golf, lacrosse and water polo.
 
Representing W&J on the list were Julia Barthelemy (Crescent, Pa./Moon Area), Mya Bolinda (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills), Anastacia Didovich (Venice, Fla./Venice), Sammy Hartz (Ijamsville, Md./Oakdale), Ella Phillips (Arnold, Md./Broadneck) and Hallie Ratcliff (Friendswood, Texas/Friendswood).
 
Didovich and Ratcliff both earned a selection to the CSC Academic All-District team from the women's water polo program. Didovich holds a 3.56 cumulative grade-point average in business administration with a minor in Spanish. Didovich netted the game-tying goal with five seconds remaining in their third-place game at the 2025 USA Water Polo Collegiate Division III National Championship Tournament to send the contest into overtime. Ratcliff holds a 3.63 cumulative GPA as a molecular biology major and chemistry minor. Ratcliff finished her second season with the Presidents as a Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III Honorable Mention selection.
 
Barthelemy of the women's golf team collects here first Academic All-District honor following her sophomore season. She currently holds a 3.83 cumulative GPA as a Chemistry major. Barthelemy finished as the 2024 PAC Fall Medalist following the opening two rounds at the PAC Fall Championships. Barthelemy is the first W&J golfer to be in the top spot on the Fall leaderboard since Kaitlyn Vogel '18 in the 2017 season. Barthelemy finished as an All-PAC First Team selection, finishing fourth at the Spring PAC Championships.
 
Bolinda and Hartz both earned recognition on the Academic All-District team as a members of the women's lacrosse team. Bolinda holds a 3.69 GPA as a psychology and communication arts major.  The North Hills product powered the W&J offense this past season, racking up a team-high 49 goals, 74 points and 59 draw controls. Bolinda ranked fourth in the PAC in goals per game (3.27), fourth in points per game (4.93) and seventh in assists per game (1.67). She finished her junior season as an All-PAC First Team selection.
 
Hartz concluded her sophomore season with a 3.58 GPA as a Biochemistry major. The sophomore defensive anchor was a force on the backline for W&J, causing 23 turnovers and grabbing 28 ground balls. She finished the season with All-PAC Second Team honors for the second-consecutive season.
 
Phillips, a dual-sport athlete, earned her third CSC Academic All-District honor. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.83 cumulative GPA with degrees in political science and history. Phillips is a four-year starter and has earned all-conference honors for both women's lacrosse and field hockey during her time at W&J. In women's lacrosse, she finishes her career third all-time at W&J in career ground balls (203) and third all-time in career caused turnovers (136). Phillips also holds the record for most games played by a women's lacrosse player at W&J with 69 appearances.
 
Both Bolinda and Phillips now advance to the Academic All-America ballot.
 
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
NCAA and NAIA Women's At-Large Academic All-America® First-, second- and third-team honorees will be announced on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
 
To be eligible for a CSC All-District nomination, student-athletes must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA or higher and be a sophomore, junior or senior. In addition, the student-athletes must make valuable contributions to their respective programs athletically.
