SEATTLE, Wash. - The Washington & Jefferson men's water polo team had six members of its team on the MPSF/6-8 Sports Men's Water Polo All-Academic Team, announced Thursday (Jan. 15).
The six Presidents on the list include
Hector Santaella (Key Biscayne, Fla./Belen Jesuit Prep),
Parker Elliott (Pennsburg, Pa./Upper Perkiomen),
Aidan Miller (Grove City, Ohio/St. Charles Prep),
Dillon Parker (Nipomo, Calif./Central Coast New Tech),
Timothy Deutsch (Hazleton, Pa./Hazleton) and
Brody Souder (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley).
Student-athletes were nominated for this award by their institutions based on the following criteria:
- 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average.
- Student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically.
- Student-athlete must have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is being received.
- Student-athlete must have competed in fifty percent or more of the institution's competition in the student-athlete's respective sport.
