INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Washington & Jefferson College intern assistant women's volleyball coach
Delaney Baker has been selected to attend the 2026 NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar.
The annual event created for professional development and networking at all levels of the NCAA is scheduled for Jan. 28-30, 2026 at the NCAA headquarters in Indianapolis, Ind. The NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar is an annual professional development event providing effective leadership, educational and transitional programming for more than 200 attendees from NCAA membership institutions, conference offices and affiliate organizations.

Scott McGuinness. "She is a talented young professional and we are proud that she was selected by the NCAA to represent Washington & Jefferson College at this national event."
Applications for the event were taken from Sept. 5 to Oct. 10 and Baker's application was selected by the NCAA Leadership Development staff based on the application's scoring criteria, which included six different categories. The categories were Commitment, Contribution, Leadership/Willingness to Learn, Industry Acumen, Communication and Experience.
The 2026 NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar is a three-day professional development experience. Participants will learn through interactive presentations, breakouts and panel discussions. Individuals will additionally explore career pathways, practice real-world leadership skills and return to their roles with practical tools and an expanded professional network.
The theme for the 2026 NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar is "The Takeoff: Take Up Space!".
