Men’s Wrestling Concludes 2025-26 Season at NCAA Regionals

ADA, Ohio – The Washington & Jefferson College men's wrestling team (6-12, 4-1) concluded their 2025-26 campaign at the NCAA Division III Regional tournament hosted by Ohio Northern University. Three wrestlers made it to the final day of the event.
 
Sophomore Vitali Daniels (Scenery Hill, Pa./Bentworth) led the way for the Presidents with a fifth-place finish in the 184-pound weight class. Daniels battled in a hard-fought semifinal match that went the distance but ultimately fell to a 4-2 decision. The sophomore fell in the consolation season but finished his campaign with a 13-3 major decision to secure the placing for the Presidents.
 
Junior Jaden Fields (Worthington, Ohio/Thomas Worthington) wrestled two matches on the final day of competition. Fields took a tough defeat to the No. 7 seed of the 197-pound bracket. Fields closed out the tournament with a pin at the six-and-a-half-minute mark to secure a seventh-place finish.
 
Junior Brandon Dami (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan) wrestled two tough bouts at 125 pounds but ultimately had hard-fought defeats and finished eighth.
 
The Presidents finished the NCAA Division III Regional Event in 11th place out of 20 teams.
 
W&J concludes the 2025-26 campaign with an overall 6-12 dual record and a 4-1 record in Presidents' Athletic Conference action. The Red & Black finished the season with two individual PAC Champions and an overall third-place result.
