Allen, DiPietro-Harvey Selected to PAC All-Conference Teams

TRAFFORD, Pa. – Two Washington & Jefferson College seniors have been named on the 2026 All-Presidents' Athletic Conference Softball Teams, as announced by the conference on Tuesday (May 5). Senior Hannah Allen (Harrison City, Pa./Penn Trafford) was chosen to the All-PAC Softball First Team. Classmate Julia DiPietro-Harvey (Pittsburgh, Pa./Taylor Allderdice) was selected to the All-PAC Softball Second Team.
 
Allen led the team at the plate with a .452 average and a .626 slugging percentage. Allen finished her 2026 campaign with 52 hits, 14 of which were extra bases. The senior also led the team with 30 runs batted in. At the conference level, Allen ranked third in the PAC for batting average. The senior finished her W&J career ranked sixth all-time in total hits. This season's numbers put Allen as the fifth-highest single-season hits in school history. Allen also finished her time as a President with the third-highest career batting average.
 
DiPietro-Harvey led the Presidents' offense with 24 runs scored, 13 doubles, and five triples. The senior finished the year with a .380 batting average and had 49 hits. DiPietro-Harvey ranked fourth in the PAC in triples and ninth in doubles. Defensively, DiPietro-Harvey made no errors in the field and had 55 putouts. The senior helped lead a Presidents' defense that finished in a tie for tenth nationally in fielding percentage. DiPietro-Harvey finished her W&J career in a tie for the most triples in W&J history.
 
Additionally, freshman Haylee Young (Zanesville, Ohio/John Glenn) was W&J's selection to the PAC Sportsmanship Team.   
 
W&J finished the 2026 campaign with an overall record of 17-19, and was 10-12 in PAC contests.
