Women's Lacrosse

Kenyon Blanks W&J 16-0

Box Score GAMBIER, Ohio -- Eight different Kenyon players scored and the Ladies rolled to a 16-0 women's lacrosse victory over Washington & Jefferson Sunday afternoon at Mavec Field. 

Kenyon (5-1) scored 12 times in the first half and outshot the Presidents (0-3) by a 34-2 margin.  Caroline Shipman netted three KC goals and goalies Meredith Bentsen and Indigo Eisendrath combined for the shutout.  Neither goalie was forced to make a save. 

Kelsey Roetenberg made 10 saves for the Presidents. 

W&J plays its first home game of the season at Alexandre Stadium on Saturday versus Thiel at noon.
