ERIE, Pa. -- Washington & Jefferson set a new school record with its eighth consecutive victory after defeating Penn State-Behrend on Saturday at Junker Pool. Earlier Saturday, the Presidents knocked off Grove City 9-3.
W&J (15-7) received three goals by
Brittany Hopkins in the win over Penn State-Behrend.
Aly Fishbough,
Madison Nervig,
Brittany Patterson and
Sarah Latzo all added one.
Julia Nadovich was strong in goal with 10 saves.
Rachel Clauss fired in a trio of goals against the Wolverines, while Fishbough, Nervig, Madison Wummer,
Allison Rocha,
Sara Boldt and
Catherine Villa also got into the scoring column.
Ally Hopkins (6) and
Morgan Kinyon (3) combined for nine saves in the cage.
The Presidents have now won four more matches than any team in W&J women's water polo history.
