WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Washington & Jefferson women's lacrosse coach Alison Valerio recently sat down with Sports Information intern Anthony Socrates to preview the 2016 season.

The Presidents were picked to finish second in the Ohio River Women's Lacrosse Conference following a third-place showing in the inaugural campaign for the league in 2015.

This year, W&J will play 15 regular season contests, including seven at Alexandre Stadium and eight total ORLC games.

Washington & Jefferson opens up the 2016 season on Saturday, Feb. 27 with a 1 p.m. home nonconference match against Ohio Wesleyan.
