How it Happened: The Washington & Jefferson women's water polo team dropped its first of two games on Saturday, March 18, a 13-7 decision to host Saint Francis (Pa.)
 
Top Performers: Brittney Patterson (North Wales, Pa./North Penn) led the Presidents' attack with a hat trick as she scored all three goals in the first quarter.
 
The Rest: Ally Hopkins (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) added two goals of her own in the first quarter, capping a five-goal W&J opening frame. Lexie Gartner (West Lawn, Pa./Wilson) and Macel Reising (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) both added a goal to round out the Presidents' scoring.

How it Happened: The Presidents earned their second win of the season with a 12-10 overtime win against Penn State-Behrend in the second game on Saturday.
 
Top Performers: Chloe Magyari (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) scored four goals, including one in overtime, to pace the offense. 
 
The Rest: Patterson and Tess O'Neill (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) both scored twice in regulation with Patterson scoring in the fourth to get the game to overtime. Liz Klock (New Lennox, Ill./Lincoln-Way Central) scored two goals as well but scored both in the overtime period to seal the W&J win.

What's next: The Presidents will return to the pool on Friday, Mar. 24, to face Connecticut College (12:20 p.m) and Macalester (4:20 p.m.) followed by a Saturday doubleheader against Utica (9:00 a.m.) and Carthage (3:40 p.m.) in New London, Conn.
