PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- A select group of members of the Washington & Jefferson Track & Field team competed Friday evening at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational in Pittsburgh.
On the women's side,
Faith Remich (New Kensington, Pa. / Burrell) competed in the 1500 Meters. The senior posted a time of 4:55.28. That mark is a new personal-best, which helped her finish 13th in a loaded field of 60 competitors.
In men's competition, four Presidents participated in the 5000 Meters.
Julian Paul (Pittsburgh, Pa./Montour) paced that group with a time of 16:00.04.
Brock Pennington (North East, Pa. / North East) finished just behind Paul at 16:01.66.
Jake Sinclair (Beallsville, Pa./Beth-Center) crossed the finish line in 16:04.30 and
Aden Dressler (Evans City, Pa./Butler) logged a time of 16:45.36.
The squad returns to action tomorrow (Saturday, March 26) at the Bethany College Invitational.
