BEREA, Ohio -- Freshman
Claire Anderson (Jamestown, Pa./Jamestown) raced to a school-record time of 4:29.59 in the 1500 Meters Friday to highlight the efforts of the Washington & Jefferson College outdoor track & field at the 2023 Harrison Dillard Twilight Meet at Baldwin Wallace University.
Anderson's time ranks as the 11th best in the 1500 Meters in NCAA Division III this season.
Ian Baughman (Oxford, Pa./Oxford Area) posted a school record time of 53.87 in the 400-meter hurdles to jump up to 32nd in Division III.
Julian Paul (Pittsburgh, Pa./Montour) established a new school record in the 1500 Meters. Paul posted a time of 3:57.34 in the event.
In his final race in a W&J uniform,
Aden Dressler (Evans City, Pa./Butler) raced to a time of 9:33.84 to beat his own school record in the Steeplechase by 14 seconds.
Anthony Cestaro III (Memphis, Tenn./Christian Brothers) raced to a time of 10.99 in the 100 Meters. The time is a personal best and ranks fourth all-time on the W&J list. Cestaro III logged a time of 22.26 to post a strong showing in the 200 Meters.
Brock Pennington (North East, Pa./North East) raced to a personal-best time of 4:02.87 in the 1500.
Additionally on the women's side,
Chloe LoCastro (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) logged a personal best time of 5:23.40 in the 1500.
