SEATTLE, Wash. – Three Washington & Jefferson College men's water polo players earned recognition on the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-East Division Teams, announced by the organization Wednesday (Nov. 20).
Aidan Johnson (Nassau, Bahamas/Windsor) and
Aidan Miller (Grove City, Ohio/St. Charles Prep) headlined W&J's recipients earning All-MPSF East Second Team.
Kailer Spicer (East Lansing, Mich./East Lansing) represented the Presidents as an All-MPSF Honorable Mention selection.
Johnson, the sole four-year member of the team, earned his first All-MPSF honor as a utility this past season. The tenured senior is also a two-time MPSF/6-8 Sports Men's Water Polo All-Academic Team recipient. Johnson netted a goal in the Presidents' matchup against Gannon (Nov. 2).
Miller, a three-year member of the W&J men's water polo team, earned his second All-MPSF honor this season as a Second Team selection (Utility). Miller produced a staggering seven-goal performance against Wheaton (Mass.) on Nov. 12, scoring seven of the Presidents' 19 goals. Miller netted a hat trick in the final quarter of play during that outing.
Spicer rounds out W&J's representation on the All-MPSF Teams. This marks Spicer's first All-MPSF honor as one of W&J's top attackers. He is also a former MPSF/6-8 Sports Men's Water Polo All-Academic Team and ACWPC All-Academic (Outstanding) recipient from the 2023 season. Spicer tallied a goal in the Presidents' first win of the season against Wheaton (Mass.), scoring in the second half of a 21-8 victory.
W&J opens the MPSF Championships on Friday, Nov. 22 vs. Wheaton (Mass.). The Presidents' first bout of the championships is scheduled to start at 11:30 p.m. ET.
