Maggie Fees resigns from head field hockey coaching post

WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson College Department of Athletics has announced the resignation of head field hockey coach Maggie Fees.

Fees last day will be May 31. She is resigning to pursue other career opportunities.

Fees has spent the last three years with the program and has served as leader of the Presidents for the past two years.

"We thank Coach Fees for her leadership of our field hockey program the last two years," Director of Athletics Scott McGuinness said. "Maggie helped our program transition to the North Coast Athletic Conference and we are excited for the program's future as we search for our next leader."

The search for the Presidents' next head field hockey coach is already underway.

W&J finished this past season with a 6-10 overall record and a 4-6 mark in its first season in the NCAC. The 2024 campaign will kick off on Friday, Aug. 30 vs. Wilson College.
